Hunt, Dave

Why won’t there be another fall, and another, and another? Whereas the Holy Spirit initially left Adam when he sinned, Christ comes into our hearts never to leave. Thus the union between man and God that He establishes can’t be broken. Christ’s death in the past pardons even future sin. But His love has changed our hearts. We truly love Him and don’t want to sin but to please Him, and He will make that possible by giving us new bodies not subject to lust or sin and by placing us in heaven where there will be no temptation.

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. . . . If we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him."

Romans:6:6–8
