Exodus 20

I was born into the Catholic religion, but always questioned it, because the rules kept changing. I was saved August 21, 1984. While reading my Bible I came across the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 and saw the Second Commandment for the first time in my life. Not only that, but the Fourth Commandment wasn't the fourth anymore! I don't know what speaking engagement Dave was at but I had a tape from one and God in His mercy, through the Word and Dave, helped me to know why this was so. Dave said the Catechism that Catholics learned the Ten Commandments from had taken the Second Commandment out and had made two out of the last one. He had some righteous anger in his voice, because of the deceit. I shed tears, to think of how awful this was for them to do this, and at the same time was so thankful for the truth Dave shared. God is so good to bless us with willing, humble, servants such as our dear brother Dave Hunt. Loved his sense of humor, remember him saying people avoid my meetings by the thousands. What a wealth of knowledge he's left for us.
