Honor to whom honor is due!

Though I never got the chance to meet Dave in person, his writing and speaking have had a profound influence on my life. I was given one of his books early in my pastoral ministry that began in the mid-1980's. Ever since then, I have purchased, given out, and recommended anything that he has put out. I recently told our preachers-in-training here at our church in Texas that anything I read by Dave Hunt that relates to a doctrinal issue such as Catholicism, Calvinism, the Charismatic movement, Creation, etc. becomes the standard and thesis on that subject! God gave him an amazing mind of both analysis and logic, and a tremendous gift of articulation to go with it.  His thoroughness and research made his writings credible and irrefutable, and his ministry will carry on through his legacy of challenging laymen and preachers alike to hold to the truth "once delivered unto the saints." I want to thank his dear wife Ruth, their family, Bro. McMahon, and all the staff of TBC for sharing the life and ministry of this great man of God with all of us! He will be greatly missed, but as with all men of destiny and impact in the kingdom of God, "he being dead yet speaketh"!
