My Son Meets Dave

Dave often spoke at the Prophecy Conference at Calvary Chapel, Appleton, WI. I had been talking with my son, David, about what a person who loves the Lord is like. What better lesson that to meet a living example. David worked for Lane Gibson, the Associate Pastor, at Pilgrim's Cafe. I also know Lane and asked him to introduce my son to Dave Hunt. After Dave spoke at the Sunday morning service following the conference, Lane introduced my son, David, to a truly remarkable Man of God. Mr. Hunt was a little embarrassed because his nose had started bleeding, but it didn't matter to us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we still talk about to this day. What was really meaningful to me was how Mr. Hunt talked with David and treated him like he was the most important person he had ever met. This moment was not lost on my son who said he hoped to walk with the Lord like Dave did. Many thanks to Lane and Dave Hunt for giving us this memory.
