Dave Hunt stands as a citadel next to other great Bible teachers, ever reminding us to check “whether those things were so.” Thank you, my brother, for teaching us unashamedly the truth of the gospel. Through so many, many years you have taught and guided us and you leave a very empty spot in our lives. We all just will have to work a little harder to fill that empty spot and to remind the faithful to check whether “those things were so.” Your outspoken and at times cutting but also highly humoristic style will be missed much, but you leave your books. So glad you did write them. So glad for you that now you have entered into the joy of our Lord. Partly jealous of your newly gained position, we must forge on. My prayers are with Mrs. Hunt and the family, and for those who need to understand more about our wonderful Lord and Savior and His great plan of salvation. Enjoy, enjoy, brother, the joy of our Lord! For many years I followed you. You gave your support and help to us who felt out of sync with so many “opinions” in so many different denominations. You were like a buoy believers could hang on to and trust. You would tell it like it was and how it should be, and for a Calvinistic raised Dutch woman coming to big America, you were a great support.
