Thank you Lord for Dave

I first met Dave in my home town Harare, Zimbabwe over 10 years ago (can't remember exactly). Dave came at a time for me when there was much uncertanty around concerning "new blessings" and "new prophecies" being promoted by certain church leaders. Dave provided clarity on these issues in a seminar in Harare which I attended. I was so encouraged by Dave's authority and conviction when he spoke and underlined his every point with extracts from God's Word the Bible. This is a man who has not swerved from the ministry God gave him, a man who loved his Saviour, a man who inspired me to really seek the Lord and search the Scriptures first for answers and how to "test everything". I have followed Dave's newsletters and radio programes ever since and it has been so refreshing to learn from a man who would not compromise, who would confront the "wolves" publicly while at the same time take such criticism from the "sheep" who he was trying to admonish and protect - This is how we all should be living our lives and is like how Jesus was during His ministry on earth - to stand firm on the Rock and not be swayed by popular opinion, holding to the teachings of His word in everything. I will surely miss you Dave until we meet again at the banquet - May the Lord be with your family at this time. Lord thank you for Dave - all who new this man can surely say Dave is your servant and You Lord are his God.
