Christians ought to stand against such evils as homosexuality, abortion, pornography, and the abuse of drugs, and do all they can to limit godless influence in society. At the same time, the Christian must not forget that his primary responsibility to the world is to present it with the gospel. Too often social and political activism becomes a substitute for saving souls. Moreover, Christians must take their stand against moral and social evil as those who are redeemed by the blood of Christ and not join with the ungodly in promoting moralism, a system that is no better than humanism.
