If we were just pawns of our personalities, the passage below would lose meaning. Further, 1 Corinthians:10:13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
See All... specifically tells us that no one is tempted beyond their ability to resist. It must therefore follow that individuals have a conscious role to play in their decisions. —TBC
