“Do all speak with tongues?” asks Paul. The response is obviously that not all speak in tongues any more than all are workers of miracles, etc. But the false teaching that all do, and the attempt to get all to speak in tongues, has introduced much error and even occultism into the Pentecostal/charismatic movement. Seek the Giver first of all, and receive from Him whatever gifts He bestows. Knowing Him and being crucified with Christ and experiencing His life being lived through you is the first priority. Get that right, and all else will fall into place. —TBC
