Many toys today reflect the demoralization of our society and the negative impact it makes upon children. The problem with some toys is not that they have demons in them but rather (a) are, in some cases, demonically inspired (knowingly or unknowingly) and (b) the conditioning effect they have in causing children to feel familiar and comfortable with strange beings or those that can cast spells, as well as (c) replacing time that could be spent on whatever is true, honest, pure, lovely, and of good report (Phil:4:8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
See All...) with a preoccupation with sinister, evil-looking, or frightening entities. Children identify rather strongly with their toy characters and thus through fantasy may be living out the life of the toy. Depending on the toy and what it stands for, this can be dangerous. Some of these toys are fairly innocuous. Others bear occult or other questionable or suggestive marks, symbols, or names.
