What could be better than for God to analyze our lives and motives and to guide us? One of the names of our Lord Jesus Christ is “Counselor” (Isaiah:9:6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
See All...). Could we desire any better counsel than that which He provides in His Word and by His Holy Spirit? What an affront to our heavenly Counselor to look elsewhere for supplemental help!
