One of the “experts,” Francis Frangipane, stated that the “sword of the Spirit” has two edges: One edge is Scripture and the other edge is “the living Word of God: what the Spirit is saying now to the church [i.e., by new revelation through new prophets].” Frangipane was an apostle, along with founder John Robert Stevens, of the heretical Church of the Living Word, which was infamous for its new revelations through false prophets and its unabashed occultism and immorality. Frangipane has never renounced his involvement, and here he is in Charisma promoting the same error. Of course, “new revelations” have made the charismatic movement what it is today, and they are foundational to the new doctrine of spiritual warfare/territorial spirits.
