If I said that the approximately 4-minute video, "Tim Keller: Christians Purged From Govt, Colleges "Brought It On Ourselves" By Hurting LGBT Feelings" is confusing, that might be an understatement. He talks about ministries in the 1980's and 90's alerting Christians of the concerted efforts by gay activists to change culture. Gays were and some ministries, missions and churches were speaking to the issue. In many cases these missions are supported by those who believe in their mission. Keller seems to claim evangelicals who address these issues are doing so as "Christian nationalists" and are the cause of the cultural divide. He then notes that the Gay activists were doing the vary things which evangelicals were warning about (https://youtu.be/QULvu16tBiU).
It is unclear if Tim Keller believes sexual immorality is a sin or if there is a place to teach on this in church or culture. He also admits that at the rate things are going Christians may have no place in American society or institutions. While he is correct that Jesus called us to serve it is also true that the greatest servant of all publicly called for sinners to repent. He didn't seem overly concerned about hurting their feelings. Perhaps Pastor Tim missed those parts of Scripture.
