It is true that our bodies are composed of some of the same elements found in the stars. Atoms are made up of numerous subatomic particles, primarily the electron, neutron, and proton. Behind these, however, are numerous smaller bits of energy—neutrinos, leptons, quarks, baryons, mesons, etc. The number of ever-smaller particles goes on and on. These form atoms that form the molecules of which matter is composed. Without understanding their origin or being able to explain them, atheists accept the “laws” of physics and chemistry, which declare that every material thing is formed out of energy and that this makes up the stuff we call matter.
