Circle the Wagons!
One of the very obvious characteristics of the first-century church was the fellowship of believers. They were drawn to each other primarily because of their new life in Christ. They continued together, growing steadfast in doctrine, in the Lord's Supper, and in praying together. Furthermore, they met one another's physical needs. That was a witness of their changed life and the strengthening of their faith for witnessing. Their obedience to the Word in fellowship produced much fruit, giving them favor with those who saw their changed lives, and the Lord added new believers to the church daily (Acts:2:42-47 [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
[43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
[44] And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
[45] And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
[46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
[47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

If we are not experiencing fellowship with other believers, besides being disobedient to the Word, we are missing out on what God has provided for our growth, encouragement, edification, consolation, and spiritual welfare and protection. All of this is especially critical as apostasy increases and the world steps up its attacks against Christ and His followers.
