Knowing the certainty of the season
The angels announcing the birth of Christ called out, “…Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke:2:10-14 [10] And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

The reality of this amazing provision and hope for all mankind stands in stark contrast to anything offered by any counterfeit of man or demon. “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy:3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

“There are only two kinds of men: the righteous, who believe themselves sinners; the rest, sinners who believe themselves righteous” --Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)
These words echo the statement of the Apostle Paul, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief” (1 Timothy:1:15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

"For I [Jesus] came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John:6:38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

May we rejoice that not only was the coming of Jesus prophesied, He came. Not on man’s terms or according to man’s plan. "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons" (Galatians:4:4-5 [4] But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
[5] To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

May God encourage us with these things.
