We are warned that all of the true children of the Lord will be corrected. The Lord does not take his disobedient children lightly and points out that judgment begins at His house (1 Peter:4:17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
See All...). As to repentance, it is clear that the process of believing involves a turning (repentance) from our dead works. Paul spoke of how he testified both to the Jews and Gentiles, “repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts:20:21Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
