The Scriptures are clear on the matter of womanly subjection, both in a church context and in relation to her husband. In keeping with the order that the Lord has established, women are not to pastor churches, teach, or otherwise be in authority over men (1 Corinthians:11:3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
