Paul solemnly swore that he would be willing to be damned eternally if that would effect the salvation of his brethren, the Jews. If God inspired such love, then surely God desires the salvation of all mankind. If God did not inspire this love, then Paul is more loving than God! And wouldn’t Paul be defying God by desiring the salvation of those whom God has eternally damned? It is both biblically and logically inconsistent to say that God loves those whom He predestined to eternal doom—yet God is love.

"For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh."

Romans:9:3
