Christians are not to be of this world. There is a real danger in entangling ourselves in the affairs of men, getting caught up in plans and programs and agendas, and thereby losing our ability to “seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God” (Colossians:3:1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

The verse goes on to say, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” We are to be eagerly waiting and watching for Christ to return to take us up to be with Him forever.
