Apples of Gold - December 20

Adam never tasted the death that Christ died for him. No man has ever tasted the death that Christ died—the second death in the lake of fire for eternity. Christ had to endure that for everyone who ever lived or ever will live in order to pay the full penalty for the sin of the world. Spiritual suffering for our sins, separation from God, tasting fullness of death for every man, took place on the Cross—and nowhere else.
