While the contemporary scene may sometimes dismay us and be cause for fervent prayer, it is also a call to Bereanship and personal diligence in scriptural study, prayer, and obedience to those things we do understand from God's Word, for therein lies growth in discernment. Through it all, we can find the Lord giving us opportunity and challenge for growth as well as intercessory service and the ability to admonish each other daily. —TBC
