The ministry of self-esteem is based upon a false foundation. It is only one of hundreds of conflicting psychological theories and thus is opposed by thousands of psychologists/psychiatrists both Christian and non-Christian. Moreover, it conflicts with God’s Word (Philippians:2:3Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Yet that, according to “Christian psychologists,” is the cause of nearly every evil plaguing mankind today. Unfortunately, such teaching is not drawn from the Bible but from humanistic psychology. —TBC
