It is clear that “belief” and not “baptism” is the criteria for salvation. Baptism does not save, yet throughout the book of Acts we see converts submitting to water baptism. Jesus Himself was baptized, stating “thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness” (Matthew:3:15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
