Hunt, Dave

The fact that Paul declared that he had fought a good fight, had finished his course, and fulfilled the ministry given to him by the Lord is evidence that social action was not on the agenda—and that, I believe, holds true today, since we are to follow his example. It is important to remember that Noah was “a preacher of righteousness,” not a “protestor for righteousness.”

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
