Some have the idea that we have the right to claim healing always from anything and that if one is sick, it’s due to sin and/or a lack of faith. This leads to “miracle” services where no miracles from God take place, but a lot of people get excited—and some even think they’re healed, only to find out the next day that they aren’t. So they come back again to another miracle service; and on and on it goes, and the world looks on and ridicules, and they become a reproach to the Lord.

"And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you."
