Handy “Witness Warning” Verses
In the center of this month’s front page article (located at the end of the article on the online edition) is a section of verses that you can cut out and keep in your Bible or near your door. You might also make copies of the article itself and keep them handy for your proselytizing visitors, giving them out as the Lord leads you. If the cut-out section of verses or the article is turned down by the callers, they will probably allow you to read the verses to them.
The objective is to let the Word of God, the Word of Truth (John:17:17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
See All...) speak to their hearts. Scripture tells us that God’s Word will not return void but will accomplish what God intends (Isaiah:55:11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
See All...). It may bring conviction that will lead to repentance and salvation. Or it may bring condemnation for their rejection of the truth. In any case it is the Sword of the Spirit that presents the critical warning regarding where the Jehovah’s Witnesses will spend their eternal destiny. That may be more effective than situations that often wind up merely as a debate session.
