New Methods?

I love hearing stories of God intervening overseas—may we never box God into “what He can’t do.” But I confess, I am concerned over how angels, visions, and miracles have become “a method” that some are now banking on…even to the point where missionaries are not prepared for the hard work ahead of them. A seriously naïve outlook about the need for language competency is common. “God is using new methods.” Really? Will “suffering” become outdated in the next “new exciting” method?
