After God, there is nothing that Dawkins and his colleagues hate more than the idea of purpose, plan, and design. They are riding the crest of a tsunami of popularity that is making fortunes for each of them. This apparatus is another product of Dawkins’s runaway imagination to go along with selfish genes, memes, phenotypes, Mount Improbable,” etc.  Why should we believe him without any supporting scientific evidence? The current aura of success doesn’t mean that all of his pronouncements are scientifically valid. And once again, his theorizing doesn’t meet the criteria of common sense. We have to do a little thinking on our own.
