Much of the anti-Semitism to which we have referred and which appears on the surface around the world is only the tip of the iceberg. The most vicious and far-reaching anti-Semitism is that which has been exercised by governments, international corporations (especially oil companies), and religious institutions, both Protestant and Catholic. There are no moral principles or loyalties – the only motive for any partnership is profit.
One week before his death of cerebral hemorrhage on April 4, 1945, Franklin D. Roosevelt promised Ibn Saud that the US would not assist the Jews against the Arabs. His successor, Harry S. Truman (who would shock the world three years later by recognizing Israel only minutes after its declaration of independence), realizing that his ministers were betraying him, began an investigation that was stopped by Allen Dulles’s threats of oil sources drying up. At the end of the war, Dulles managed to smuggle Nazi money back to his clients. Yet he became the head of the CIA!
Of course, the destruction of Israel was an integral part of the plans. One had to make a choice between helping Israel, or having plenty of oil – a choice that most didn’t find difficult to make. The pressure against allowing the state of Israel to be formed was overwhelming, which makes the miracle of her birth all the more amazing.
