Nuggets from Occult Invasion

Such cases, rare in the past, are now proliferating as increasing numbers of psychologists and psychiatrists regress patients into the past in search of abuse. Some therapists are now convinced—and convincing a growing audience—that rare indeed is the person who has not been sexually (and probably satanically) abused. It has been estimated that if the stories being uncovered by therapists are indeed true, “as many as 50,000 human sacrifices are being carried out each year in the United States.” That is clearly preposterous. Yet on the basis of these false memories, many of them are being uncovered by Christian psychologists, families are being destroyed and lives are being ruined.
