Nuggets from Occult Invasion

The door that Constantine opened has allowed an incredible mix of occultism to be embraced by Catholicism. A recent article in National Catholic Reporter is typical. The author referred to Chicago Bulls coach Phil Jackson approvingly as a “Zen Christian” and commended his spirituality:

“Not long ago, Jackson spoke at Old St. Patrick’s Church in Chicago’s loop. … He told the crowd of the power of prayer. … “I was far more effective when I balanced the masculine and feminine side of my nature,” he wrote in his book. … Study Pastor Jackson. He will free you up to lead others—and control yourself.”
