The annual March for Jesus (MFJ) has its origins in a London, England, charismatic group called Icthus Christian Fellowship. In cooperation with YWAM, it brings literally millions around the world into the streets to “celebrate Jesus.” On June 25, 1994, according to reports—
“More than 20,000 inmates participated in March for Jesus events in prisons across the country…. In Sao Paulo, Brazil, 850,000 dance and sang in the streets in pouring rain…. An estimated 1 million people participated in a single prayer rally in Seoul, Korea. For the first time, Christians were given permission to hold public marches in Mongolia and in Phnom Penh, Cambodia….”
