One looks in vain for a concern for sound doctrine on the part of Clinton’s spiritual advisors, Schuller and Tony Campolo. Promoting forgiveness without repentance and change, Campolo says, “Oh, how we need to become forgivers across party lines, across religious lines, across national lines.” On the same program Chris Burry said, “Newt Gingrich, too, has recently called for peace in the name of God.” Newt is a New Ager. We wonder what god he refers to? Said Jerry Falwell:

“I think the president has done great damage to the moral fiber of this country the past four years. I have great difficulty swallowing hook, line and sinker the Bible in hand and the prophetic role of Bill Clinton while he still promotes abortion, infanticide and he’s even brought the gays and lesbians to his administration which, while we must lovingly reach out to people with moral problems, I don’t think we need to be role modeling this to the kids as a way of life.”
