No government has the right to forbid Christians to worship God, to own and read the Bible, or to give Bibles or tracts or otherwise to share their faith with others. Nor does any government have the right to cause believers to break God's laws or act contrary to their faith and God-given conscience. The government has the right to see to it that its citizens are educated in a manner that will strengthen the nation's capabilities to survive and grow. It does not, however, have the right, under the cover of education, to attempt to persuade children raised in Christian families to adopt beliefs or practices contrary to the faith of their parents.
