Circle the Wagons!
One of the things we learned from our conference experience was the importance of biblical fellowship. We wanted to restore what we lost due to the Covid pandemic and we went about it in a very conservative way, numbers wise. Thanks to the generous financial support of our fellow Bereans, we were able to make the conference a no-cost attendance event that included free lunch and dinner meals. That greatly enhanced the fellowship as all the participants were able enjoy meals together throughout the conference. In summary, it couldn't have worked out better!
It also reminded me of what Dave Hunt would declare from time to time as he would comment on the apostasy that was growing exponentially: “We believers need to circle our wagons with like-minded Bible believers!” That's what Hebrews:10:25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
See All... is all about. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Dave would then add, “As the day approaches, the circle may well grow smaller.”
We don't have to let that happen.
“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts:2:42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
See All...)
